MY GOD MY GOD WHY HAVE WE FORSAKEN YOU ?

Why have so many forsaken the Lord when all of his intentions are nothing but good? One time they were about to stone Jesus

and he said " for which of my good works do you stone me?"  Jer. 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the

Lord thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end. He has the best in mind for you and me. So why do some forsake

him? Could it be because it will require that they loose their idenity in Christ. It is hard for some people not to get attention. We as christians

have been crucified with Christ ( Gal. 2:20) and we do not live anymore unto ourselves, we live so as Jesus gets all the glory and

thats what we are here for. So make up your mind that you will give glory to the Lord with the life that you live.

We just celebrated our 90th year here at Bethel and it reminds me of the verse in the book of acts which reads "But if it be of God

ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God" Acts 5:39. I tell you today that it has been about God and we need

to keep it that way." With God all things are possible". With God "no weapon formed against me shall prosper". With God " my enemy

will come at me one way and flee seven". With God "a thousand will fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand". With God

"I can do all things". Now let me say that if you are of God then you are unstoppable and with that attitude you can come into the Holy

of Holies with boldness and worship the King.

IS REVIVAL NEAR ? PDF Print E-mail

Revival is near when repentance is near. In Isa. 6 we find Isaiah saying " woe is me for I am a man of unclean lips". When he realized this

he was ready to make it right ( repent). To many times we compare ourselves to others and therefore feel that we are living a life pleasing to God.

Others are not the standard, God is. Isaiah thought he was doing just fine while preaching to others to repent but when he encountered the Living

Majestic God of the universe he realized he was a man of unclean lips. I believe that two things need to happen before revival comes. First we need a

personal encounter with God. Isaiah was alone with God when this happened and we to need to be alone with God. Then second thing, when we

get alone with God we will see just how far removed we are from Gods' standard of Holiness. It is then time to repent and revival will be birthed.

What about the lost ? PDF Print E-mail

We all have people that we are praying for about thier salvation. So we pray "Lord I hope that you dont come until my brother or father is saved".

I just feel the Lord saying to us "what are you doing about thier salvation?". Are we just going to keep praying like that or are we going to do

something about the lost? Its time to get busy for one day he is coming and then it will be to late. Lets not just pray but may we put feet to our

prayers and do something. Jesus said that he came to seek and to save that which was lost and we my friend are to imitators of Christ.

EXPECTING SOMETHING TO HAPPEN PDF Print E-mail

Mark 11:23-24

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt

in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. In this verse I hear Jesus saying

to expect to receive when you pray. I am expecting a Revival spirit to break out just any time. As the coming of our savior draws near and he pours

out his spirit I believe that we are hungry and ready to receive of him. Would you allow the spirit to have his way in your life today and be a one

man Revival if nessary ?
